BRIEF HISTORY:
To cater the higher education and to fulfil the needs of people of Gadag and rural places. The Management of Kanakadas Shixana Samiti introduced Science faculty with Mathematics in 1991 along with Physics etc. The first batch had a strength of students. Shri. L. V. Sangalad was made Head of the Department of Mathematics and Shri V. H. Kolli was appointed as Lecturer at KSS Degree College in the year 1993. Later Shri L.V.Sangalad appointed in Government College and in his place Shri. Y. Revedakundi has appointed as Lecturer in the Department on 4-11-1993.
With the support and Financial Assistance of the management the department was developed. Owing to the ambitions plans of the management to groom the department of Mathematics of our institution into a model department in the Karnatak university area.
